Support for children
affected by war-trauma
Every day, the horrors of war trap millions of children in spirals of depression, anxiety, and fear. We’re on a mission to provide relief through transformative therapy, mental health and psychosocial support.
War. Disaster. Despair
The experience of war can condemn a child to a life of trauma. Stuck in the cycle of anxiety and stress, many lose the ability to imagine, to play, to trust, to hope, to learn – with a devastating impact on their future. Tragically, help for these children is severely underfunded.
Peace of Mind Foundation finds, funds and facilitates innovative therapy and mental health and psychosocial support projects in emergencies. Our transformative work provides relief and restores hope, guiding young people towards a healthier, happier future.

We find, support and fund hope-building organisations
From grassroot actors to international NGOs, we support organisations who provide mental health assistance to children in conflict and disaster zones.
We believe in the healing power of art-based and other creative therapy approaches, which enable children to explore and navigate their traumatic experiences.
Find
We collaborate with established, recognised and respected partners: from local activists to large global NGOs; from educational to faith-based organisations. Valuing the preciousness of human life above politics, we’re neutral, impartial, and simply work tirelessly to help children.
Do you work on trauma healing in emergencies?
Fund
We support front-line organisations that provide trauma and mental health relief for children in emergency settings in a variety of ways: from straight-forward grants and financial support, to the procurement of tools, resources and expertise. We’re here to help our partners improve their practice, extend their reach, or expand their operations to new areas.
Help us fund hope for war-traumatised children.
Facilitate
We help our partners do what they do, where they’re needed most. We consult on programmatic strategy and capacity, assisting with staffing and trainings in conflict-ridden countries. We also co-develop MHPSS projects that are sustainable and culturally-appropriate.
